Now that Windows 8 has been released a lot of people using
XP or Vista is thinking about going for the latest offer of Microsoft. But
before you go out and buy Windows 8 here are some points on why you should
consider going for Windows 7.
First thing you should consider is the price, ever since 8
came out the prices of Windows 7 especially Windows 7 Pro Software has been
going down. So you will be getting more bang for your buck if you get the 7.
The next thing you should consider is functionality.
Basically what the 8 is is just a prettied up version of Windows 7. We all know
that the only difference the two versions has is the updated looks of the 8,
while all of the functions is the same with the 7, plus and minus some touch
functions that the 8 has installed. But let’s get realistic, touch and air
functions for pc’s is not really recommended. It does not help in productivity
and its functions are very limited.
Another selling point for Windows 7 is dev mods for the
version. Windows 7 has a lot of mods created by other people and support for
the Windows 7 in forums and chat rooms are definitely more than what the 8 has.
For example, if you are into SEO or Search Engine
Optimization, there are lot software’s out there that does not support the 8 as
of the moment. So even if you want to buy and use specific software you can’t
because most of it is still coded in Windows 7 Pro software.
So if you are the type that just wants to have very
functional software with lots of support and mods and has no bugs, then the
Windows 7 Pro Software is the one for you.
